Clear glaze over crackle slip. Textured band with abraded red and orange slips provides a secure grip and fits comfortably in the hand.

These crackle pieces have several extra steps and a third firing involved in the making process compared with my other work and cost a bit more. Red stoneware dipped in white crackle slip then bisque fired a second time.
